Materials:
- Yarn: Himalaya Dolpnin Baby (white color, 100% polyester, 120 m/100 g) and YarnArt Jeans (white and light-brown, 55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 50 g/160 m)
- Hook size: 2.0 mm and 4.0 mm
- 10 mm safety eyes
- Black embroidery floss for eyelashes and brows
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Fiberfill
Abbreviations:
R = row
mc = magic circle
ch = chain
st = stitch
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
inc = 2 sc in the next stitch
dec = single crochet 2 stitches together
BLO = back loop only
F.o. = finish off
(12) = number of stitches you should have at the end of the round/row
(…)*6 = repeat whatever is between the brackets the number of times stated
Free amigurumi lamb pattern
Head
With white plush yarn and 4.0 mm crochet hook:
R 1: 6 sc in mc (6)
R 2: (inc)*6 (12)
R 3: (1 sc, inc)*6 (18)
R 4: 1 sc, inc, (2 sc, inc)*5, 1 sc (24)
R 5: (3 sc, inc)*6 (30)
R 6: 2 sc, inc, (4 sc, inc)*5, 2 sc (36)
R 7-10: 36 sc (4 rows)
R 11: 2 sc, dec, (4 sc, dec)*5, 2 sc (30)
Insert safety eyes between R 8 and R 9 at the distance of 4 st (visible) from each other.
R 13: (3 sc, dec)*6 (24)
Stuff with fiberfill.
R 14: 1 sc, dec, (2 sc, dec)*5, 1 sc (18)
R 15: (1 sc, dec)*6 (12)
Sl st. F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.
Embroider a nose 2 st wide between R 9 and R 10 and vertical stripe from R 10 to R 12.
Embroider eyelashes. Embroider eyebrows stepping back from the eyes 2 st up (focus on R 5 and R 6).
Ears (make 2)
With white semi-cotton yarn and 2.0 mm crochet hook:
R 1: 6 sc in mc (6)
R 2: (inc)*6 (12)
R 3: (1 sc, inc)*6 (18)
R 4: (2 sc, inc)*6 (24)
R 5: (3 sc, inc)*6 (30)
R 6: (4 sc, inc)*6 (36)
Fold top of ear flat and 2 sl st through both sides across.
F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.
Sew the ears to the head between R 7 and R 8 stepping back from the eyes 5 st aside and 1 st up.
Body
With white plush yarn and 4.0 mm crochet hook:
R 1: 6 sc in mc (6)
R 2: (inc)*6 (12)
R 3: (1 sc, inc)*6 (18)
R 4: 1 sc, inc, (2 sc, inc)*5, 1 sc (24)
R 5-8: 24 sc (4 rows)
Stuff with fiberfill.
R 9: 1 sc, dec, (2 sc, dec)*5, 1 sc (18)
Sl st. F.o.
Sew the head to the body.
Forelegs (make 2):
With light-brown semi-cotton yarn and 2.0 mm crochet hook:
R 1: 6 sc in mc (6)
R 2: (inc)*6 (12)
R 3: BLO: 12 sc
R 4: 12 sc
Change to white semi-cotton yarn:
R 5: 12 sc
R 6-13: 12 sc (8 rows)
Stuff with fiberfill.
R 14: (dec)*6 (6)
Sl st. F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.
Sew the forelegs to the body between R 9 and R 10 with 2 st between them.
Hind legs (make 2)
With light-brown semi-cotton yarn and 2.0 mm crochet hook:
R 1: 7 sc in mc (7)
R 2: (inc)*7 (14)
R 3: BLO: 14 sc
R 4: 14 sc
Change to white semi-cotton yarn:
R 5: 14 sc
R 6-13: 14 sc (8 rows)
Stuff with fiberfill.
R 14: (dec)*7 (7)
Sl st. F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.
Sew the hind legs to the body between R 3 and R 5 on the ears level.
