Amigurumi Carrot Free Crochet Pattern

    Hello dear amigurumi followers, we add a new one to the free amigurumi pattern. You can always follow us to reach the newest, most popular, most accurate pattern. Here is Amigurumi Carrot;

    The finished amigurumi toy is approximately 23 cm (9″) tall.

    Materials:

    • Yarn: Ricorumi Spin Spin DK (100% Cotton) 115 m/ 50 g
      • Orange color (number 006) – approximately 50 g
      • Green color (number 013) – approximately 15 g
      • Pink color (number 004) – approximately 5 g
    • Hook size according to the yarn you use – I used 2.5 mm hook (C-2)
    • Safety eyes 12 mm
    • Scissors
    • Stitch marker
    • Sewing needle
    • Black embroidery thread
    • Pins
    • Fiberfill stuffing

    Abbreviations:
    mc = magic circle
    ch = chain stitch
    sc = single crochet stitch
    inc = increase
    dec = decrease
    (x sc, inc) * 6 = repeat the pattern between parentheses 6 times
    Number in () at the end of the row indicates total number of stitches in that row

    Free crochet carrot pattern

    Legs and body (one piece)

    Legs (make 2)
    Start with the orange yarn:
    R 1: 6 sc in mc (6)
    R 2: (inc) * 6 (12)
    R 3: (1 sc, inc) * 6 (18)
    R 4: (2 sc, inc) * 6 (24)
    R 5: (3 sc, inc) * 6 (30)
    R 6: Back loops only – 30 sc
    R 7-10: 30 sc (4 rows)
    Fasten off, cut the yarn.

    To make the second leg, follow the same steps as for the first leg.

    Do not cut the yarn after finishing the second leg.
    Instead, ch 6 from the second leg and attach it to the first leg.

    Continue crocheting the body:
    R 11: 30 sc on the first leg, 6 sc along the chain, 30 sc on the second leg, 6 sc along the other side of the chain (72)

    Finish to stuff the body.

    Fasten off, cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

    Leaf small (make 2)
    With the green yarn:

    R 4-7: 18 sc (4 rows)
    R 8: (4 sc, dec) * 3 (15)
    R 9-10: 15 sc (2 rows)

    R 12: 12 sc
    Stuff with fiberfill.
    Fasten off, cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.
    Make the second one in the same way.

    Arms (make 2)
    With the orange yarn:
    R 1: 6 sc in mc (6)
    R 2: (inc) * 6 (12)
    R 3-6: 12 sc (4 rows)
    Don’t stuff the arm.
    Fold the piece in half and crochet two sides together with 6 single crochet stitches.
    Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.
    Make the second arm in the same way.

    Cheeks (make 2)
    With the pink yarn:
    R 1: 6 sc in mc (6)
    R 2: (inc) * 6 (12)
    Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.
    Make the second one in the same way.

    Assembly
    Sew the big and small leafs on the top of the body.
    Sew the arms to the body between R 18 and R 19.
    Sew the cheeks under the eyes.
    Embroider a smile.
