Amigurumi Duck Free Pattern

    Hello dear amigurumi followers, we add a new one to the free amigurumi pattern. You can always follow us to reach the newest, most popular, most accurate pattern. Here is Amigurumi Duck;

    Materials:

    • Yarn: Himalaya Dolphin Baby #80363 (main color), pink color for a headband, Wolans Bunny Baby #37 (mustard)
    • Hook size: 4.5 mm
    • 12 mm safety eyes
    • Black thread for embroidery of the eyebrows
    • Sewing and tapestry needles
    • Scissors
    • Fiber polyester balls for stuffing

    Abbreviations:
    R = row
    mc = magic circle
    ch = chain
    sl st = slip stitch
    sc = single crochet
    dc = double crochet
    hdc = half double crochet
    hdc dec = half double crochet decrease
    inc = increase (2 sc in the next stitch)
    dec = decrease (single crochet 2 stitches together)
    (12) = number of stitches you should have at the end of the round/row
    (…)*6 = repeat whatever is between the brackets the number of times stated
    F.o. = finish off

    Wings (make 2)
    R 1: 6 sc in mc (6)
    R 2: (1 hdc, inc)*3 (9)
    R 3: (2 hdc, inc)*3 (12)
    R 4: (1 hdc, inc)*6 (18)
    R 5: (8 hdc, inc)*2 (20)
    R 6-7: 20 hdc (2 rows)
    R 8: (8 hdc, dec)*2 (18)

    R 11: 6 hdc dec + additional 2 hdc
    Don’t stuff with fiberfill.
    Fold top of wing flat and 3 sc through both sides across.

    Stuff with fiberfill.

    Change to main yarn:
    R 8: 6 sc
    R 9: (inc)*6 (12)
    R 10: (1 sc, inc)*6 (18)
    R 11-12: 18 sc (2 rows)

    Don’t cut the yarn when you’ll finish the second leg!

    From the second leg: 2 ch, join with the first leg.
    Continue crocheting the body in the round:
    R 13: 18 sc on the 1st leg, 2 sc in next 2 ch, 18 sc on 2nd leg, 2 sc in next 2 ch (opposite side) (40)
    R 14: 8 sc, inc, 19 sc, inc, 11 sc (42) – increases should be on the sides of the body
    R 15-16: 42 sc (2 rows)
    In the next row attach the tail with single crochet.

    Continue crocheting the head:

    Move stitch marker at the center of row.
    R 32-35: 48 sc (4 rows)
    Insert safety eyes between R 34 and R 35 at the distance of 6 st from each other.

    Pull off the hole with needle.

    Make eye tightening.

    Hair
    Attach yarn to the external loop on R 42 and make 16 ch (or more/less), sl st in the place where you have started the chain. Repeat 6 times. F.o.

    Beak
    With orange yarn:
    Make 5 ch. Make an oval starting from the 2nd ch from hook, work on both sides of the chain.
    R 1: From the 2nd ch from hook: 3 sc, 3 sc in last st, turn: 2 sc, 3 sc in one st (11)
    R 2: 11 sc + additional 3 sc
    F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.

    Use the yarn tail you fastened off with to sew the beak to the head. Add some stuffing just before finishing.

    Embroider eyebrows using a black thread.

    Headband
    With pink yarn:
    Make 65 ch.
    R 1: From the 2nd ch from hook: 1 sc, 2 hdc, 3 dc, 2 hdc, 48 sc, 2 hdc, 3 dc, 2 hdc, 1 sc
