Crochet Teddy Bear With Pants

    Hello dear amigurumi followers, we add a new one to the free amigurumi pattern. You can always follow us to reach the newest, most popular, most accurate pattern. Here is Crochet Teddy Bear;

    Materials:

    • Yarn: Himalaya Dolphin Baby (100% polyester, 100 g/120 m) #80317 (main) – ⅓ skein, #80308 for a muzzle and pants
    • Hook size: 3.5 mm
    • 8 mm safety eyes
    • Black semi-cotton yarn (YarnArt Jeans) for embroidering a nose and eyebrows
    • Strong cotton thread for tightening in the tone of the plush yarn
    • Tapestry needle
    • Scissors
    • Fiberfill

    Abbreviations:
    R = row
    mc = magic circle
    ch = chain
    sc = single crochet
    dc = double crochet
    hdc = half double crochet
    sl st = slip stitch
    inc = 2 sc in the next stitch
    dec = single crochet 2 stitches together
    F.o. = finish off
    (12) = number of stitches you should have at the end of the round/row
    (…) x6 = repeat whatever is between the brackets the number of times stated

    Free amigurumi teddy bear with pants pattern

    Head and body (one piece)
    Start crocheting from the head:
    R 1: 2 ch, 6 sc on the 2nd ch (6)
    R 2: (inc) x6 (12)
    R 3: (1 sc, inc) x6 (18)
    R 4: (2 sc, inc) x6 (24)
    R 5: (3 sc, inc) x6 (30)
    R 6-9: 30 sc (4 rows)
    R 10: (3 sc, dec) x6 (24)
    R 11: (2 sc, dec) x6 (18)
    R 12: (1 sc, dec) x6 (12)
    Continue crocheting the body:
    R 13: 12 sc
    R 14: (1 sc, inc) x6 (18)
    R 15-16: 18 sc (2 rows)
    R 17: (2 sc, inc) x6 (24)
    R 18-21: 24 sc (4 rows)
    Insert safety eyes between R 7 and R 8 at the distance of 5 stitches from each other.
    Stuff with fiberfill.
    R 22: (2 sc, dec) x6 (18)
    R 23: (1 sc, dec) x6 (12)
    Finish stuffing.
    R 24: (dec) x6 (6)

    Muzzle
    R 1: 2 ch, 6 sc on the 2nd ch (6)
    R 2: (inc) x6 (12)
    R 3: (1 sc, inc) x6 (18)
    Sl st. F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.

    Sew the muzzle to the head. Put some stuffing inside the muzzle before you finish.

    Arms (make 2)
    R 1: 2 ch, 6 sc on the 2nd ch (6)
    R 2: (1 sc, inc) x3 (9)
    R 3-4: 9 sc (2 rows)
    R 5: (1 sc, dec) x3 (6)
    Stuff with fiberfill.
    R 6-7: 6 sc (2 rows)
    Fold top of arm flat and 3 sc through both sides across.
    F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.

    Sew the arms to the body between R 13 and R 14.

    Legs (make 2)
    R 1: 2 ch, 6 sc on the 2nd ch (6)
    R 2: (inc) x6 (12)
    R 3-4: 12 sc (2 rows)
    R 5: (1 sc, dec) x4 (8)
    Stuff with fiberfill.
    R 6-9: 8 sc (4 rows)
    Fold top of leg flat and 4 sc through both sides across.
    F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.

    Sew the legs to the body between R 19 and R 20.

    Ears (make 2)
    R 1: 2 ch, 6 sc on the 2nd ch (6)
    R 2: (inc) x6 (12)
    Sl st. F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.

    Sew the ears to the head on four stitches, skipping two rows from the top of the head, on R 3, R 4, R 5 and R 6.

    Pants
    Make 32 ch, join in ring with sl st.
    R 1: From the 3rd ch from hook: 30 hdc
    R 2-6: 30 hdc (5 rows)
    F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.

    Strap
    Leave a long tail at the beginning.
    Make 18 ch.
    R 1: From the 2nd ch from hook: 17 sc
    F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.

    Put on the pants on the teddy bear and sew both sides of the pants together between the legs.
    Sew on the strap to the pants.

    Embroider a nose and eyebrows using a black semi-cotton yarn.

    Finish Crochet Teddy Bear.
